First Round (“we”, “us”) operates the First Round game-night platform at firstround.fun. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
A display name you choose; optionally your email address and/or mobile phone number when you ask a venue to remind you about game nights; gameplay data (scores, answers) tied to an anonymous session; and basic device and usage analytics. You do not need an account to play.
How we use it
To run games, to send the reminders and messages you opted into, and to improve the product. Venues use First Round to reach their own patrons who have opted in; we act as the messaging provider on their behalf.
SMS / text messages
If you provide your mobile number and check the consent box, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and reminder text messages from First Round on behalf of the venue. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as our SMS provider, is solely to deliver the messages you requested.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us operate (hosting, analytics, payment, and SMS/email delivery), and only as needed to provide the service. We do not sell personal information.
Retention & your choices
You can opt out of texts anytime by replying STOP, and out of emails via the unsubscribe link. To request access to or deletion of your data, email us. We keep data only as long as needed to provide the service.
